The Action Center for Working Women was established for women to achieve this goal.
There have been few opportunities for women to learn how to fight against unfair treatment at work or to share their concerns or experiences with other women who also struggle in similar situations.
Even if a woman has a problem at work, she is often not listened to, because she is merely a part-timer, an irregular worker, or just … a woman. She may have more responsibilities than a full-time employee, yet it is difficult for her to get paid vacation. There are no benefits, nor even commuting subsidies. It is also hard to find allies to talk about her problems due to the high turnover at work.
Women have always been in silence even if they face harsh discrimination just because she is in a disadvantage position.
Women do not have to bear such injustice anymore.
Women do not be in silence anymore.
The Action Center for Working Women is utilizing the strength of women to build and broaden our movement.

An annual membership fee of 1,000 yen will be support the activities of the Action Center for Working Women.
An amount equivalent to three cups of coffee enables the Center's activities including, protecting the rights of working women, improving legislation, researching, supporting legal action, providing information, operating the secretariat, and networking with other women.
When you receive an unfair dismissal notice, when you cannot work due to serious sexual harassment, when your wages are withheld, women from around the country will support you.
